Two UK associations, Fuel Cells UK and UK Hydrogen Association, are merging into a single organisation to create a “common voice” for the industry.
The new industry body, the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Association (UK HCFA), launched last week bringing together the membership of the two existing associations.
The new association says it will now be in an even greater position of influence to provide the necessary support to help hydrogen and fuel cells form a key component of the UK’s new low-carbon economy.
“The UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Association has the breadth of capability to shape the climate agenda today and drive hydrogen deployment and fuel cell commercialisation towards the low carbon economy of tomorrow,” says Dennis Hayter, the chair of the new association. “We now have a common voice.”
